The works - demo, earthworks & civils
Our client constructed a 6 unit development with carparking and external landscaping. Our scope included bulk earthworks of around 850 ton of material excavated and removed, and 500 ton of imported material for the following:
- Demolition of existing house and general site clearance
- Foundation base course for the units
- Construction of 150mm thick concrete car park and paths
- Construction of permeable paved car parking
- Extensive timber retaining walls
- Driven timber piles for underground service bridging
