Civil Carpenter (Christchurch)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Carpenter to join our team. The role is a combination of hands on civil carpentery and leadership resonsibilities. 

The Role

  • Assisting the Civil Foreman with site set up and supervision across civil projects. 
  • Constructing boxing & formwork for hard landcspaing areas (carparks, driveways, paths etc). 
  • Monitoring quality and ensuring work is completed to plans and specifications. 
  • Operating hand tools, power tools and small plant. 

The Requirements

  • Proven experience in civil carpentry and formwork.
  • Strong understanding of site set out - can read plans, set heights etc. 
  • Previous leadership experience and can work effectively across multiple jobs and crews. 
  • Class 1 licence. Must be able to drive a manual transmisison, and back/ tow a trailer.
