Bridging v2

Earthworks & Civil Construction

Our client was constructing a new 24-unit development. Our scope of works included:

  • Installation of erosion and sediment control
  • Removal of boundary fences
  • Bulk earthworks for units and hard landscaping areas
  • Foundation excavation/ backfill for units
  • Construction of trafficable asphalt and concrete areas
  • Construction of kerb & channel
  • Footpath construction
  • Outside boundary works
  • Tree root bridging

Project Achievements

  • The established trees on this site had been identified as the home of native owls. As a part of the construction, our works involved working closely with environmental consultants and project managers to ensure that our works protected these trees. During construction, new design solutions were required to ensure this happened, such as extensive tree root bridging to ensure that the trees didn't die.
